VBS 2016

Well, VBS is over for this year! It's been a long, hard week, but also a very good week. Having grandchildren to smile at every day helped :)

There were lots of great lessons, lots of great sword drill, and lots of great singing.
I was a little worried this year because we had a lot of young workers but they really did an excellent job! A few of them were in the daily theme skit and enjoyed being, princesses, knights, and a king.

Now that bigger sisters have moved on in life, Abby H. and Priscilla took over registration. They did a great job!

Josh H. was so realistically hurt that his mom got a little worried when she first glanced at him!  He was Sir Tripsalot in a skit.

Rachel M. was in charge of crafts and the children made banners.

Another reason VBS was so fun this year!

One day for snack time the guys had a devotional and roasted marshmallows and the girls had a princess party with Linda M. sharing a devotional for the girls.

We had about 80 children this week with quite a few helpers and teachers.  I am SO, SO, SO thankful for everyone that helped out!  Many hands definitely make light work! And the great thing is that several children trusted in Christ as their Savior!
