Family - What a Nice Word!

Dennis Erickson took family pictures for our church directory and here's ours. It's hard to get a picture where we all look good and so we were really happy with this one.

Yesterday we had our yearly baptism service at church. We go down to a river in the area and it's just a really special place and service for those getting baptized. Baptism is such a wonderful picture of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus and such a good reminder of all we have to be thankful for. Of course we followed it by a church potluck and lots of visiting. Today the guys and probably a few of the girls are doing straw bales and hopefully some hay. It's been hot and dry which is so nice this time of year. I believe it got to 88 degrees out yesterday which is hot! When we put the new window in we took out the air conditioner that was in it and decided we probably wouldn't need it anymore. Well, the guys decided we did and put it in a different window!

Amos and Rebekah left for Bemidji this morning to do a week of 5-day clubs. They're staying with some relatives of relatives and should have a really good time. I believe we'll also be doing some garden work and "fall cleaning" which we always try to do before school starts. Have a great day and count your blessings!
