My Chevy

Arthur here -
About eight years ago I got a 4-wheel drive pickup, thanks to my dad. It was the first 4-wheel drive I owned and the previous driver thought it was about shot. Now after many years of hard labor, it is shot. It has been a great helpful tool but nothing in this life lasts forever. Things wear down and have problems. The rear main seal leaks. The breaks leak. The doors won't stay shut. A 4-wheel drive joint is out. The electrical system is inconsistent at best. The tailgate is partially working. The speedometer might work if it's cold enough out. The odometer has not changed since before I owned it. The windows don't go up or down. And, it often dies when in use. Everything is destined for the junk heap and will one day be burned up.
2 Peter 3:10, 11 ...and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness.
That's what really matters, not how tough your truck is.

  3. Well, any Chevy is a classic; at least, for me. Most used cars that my husband considers are Chevrolet brands because of its quality. And your Arthur is a proof of it. He must have been very good to you.
