Normally people think of Valentine's Day as being about husband/wife or boy/girl love, but it's a special time for everyone to remember how God loves us, and how we love God, how we love our families, and how we should love the "brotherhood." So since you'll be deprived of any more pictures until at least Monday, here's some of my favorite love verses to "warm your heart" on this wonderful February day -
John 13:35 - By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
John 13:34 - ...Love one another as I have loved you...
John 15:9 - As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
Ephesisans 5:2 - And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us...
Proverbs 17:17 - A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.
I Peter 5:7 - Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.
Romans 8:39 - "Nothing" shall be able to separate us from the love of God...
Deuteronomy 6:5 - And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Romans 5:8 - But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Colossians 3:14 - And above all these things, put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Psalm 116:1 - I love the Lord, because He hath heard my voice and my supplications.
Hosea 14:4 - I will heal their backslidding, I will love them freely:
Galatians 5:13,14 - ...by love, serve one another...Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotton Son...
Hebrews 10:24 - And let us consider one another to provoke unto love...
I Corinthians 13 - Charity...is kind...Charity never faileth:
I John 4:7-11,19 - Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God and knoweth God....God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herin is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another...We love Him, because He first loved us.
Happy Valentine's Day from Naomi and all the Krahns!
