Silas and Priscilla played a few games of Guess Who in the guest room. If you look close at the picture on the wall, it's a picture of Queeen Elizabeth. My mom is a Canadian and so the Queen was always a big deal up there, especially to the girls. She has scrapbooks going back to when King George was King of England. It's facinating history which my girls really enjoy.
Here's my mom with her great grandson, Daniel. I'm thankful for such a good mother, and mother-in-law. Somehow, I didn't get their gift of cooking such great meals like we had yesterday! Thanks, Mom.
While the ladies cleaned up, the guys visited. On the left is my nephew Matthew who has been working for Youth With a Mission in a downtown Duluth ministry. Then there's Isaac and my dad on the right.
Yesterday was also my sister Kim's birthday, so Naomi made her a beautiful springlike cake. You can't see the edges really good but there's yellow scallops bordered with flowers.
When we got home, Arthur's parents still had company so most of the family went to visit. The guys took advantage of the beautiful weather and did a little target shooting. It was a gorgeous 50 degrees which has melted most of the snow. It feels so good to walk on dirt again!

God is so good to give us families! I enjoy visiting with sisters, neices, nephews, aunts and uncles, etc. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend as well, as we celebrated the reason we have for living!
