One of Isaac's projects before he starts doing sugar beet harvest is fixing the old part of the barn's roof. Looking out my kitchen window kinda makes this mother's heart quiver! It's good to know he's in God's hands! He also took the old cupalo down and is rebuilding something else to cover that spot.
Miriam said I needed to post today so I went over to the maze since it seems like a nice day and took a few photos while the sun was shining.
Priscilla and the J. girls are sitting in the admissions / concession stand although I doubt anyone will actually go through the maze. We had a LOT of rain yesterday and last night and from the looks of the maze trails we should be renting out canoes! Anyway, it's a little bit of a disappointment because we were hoping this would be one of our biggest weekends. So far we've had four large groups for today cancel and one brave youth group still plans on trying it this evening. So, the girls are enjoying each other even if they aren't busy. But that's okay, we have plenty of other things to keep us busy.
Most kids head straight for the bale castle. Wasn't sure what I've posted so far this year so if this is a repeat, sorry!
These are the pigs, Ham and Bacon. They are in a calf hutch and whenever someone comes close they jump up and put their nose up to the wire and make a lot of noise.
Well, that's all for today. And if you think of it, pray for some nice weather the next couple of weekends. In fact, we need a lot of nice weather with hay and straw still on the ground and silage to get done. Have a great day with God!
