Yeah!

This morning Arthur and Silas went up and got this aerial photo.  I always hold my breath as far as the maze goes till I see what it looks like.  It's the Titanic blowing her smoke with iceburgs and waves in the foreground.  Okay, one of the smokestacks was for looks, but they did have some smoke come out of it, for looks.  It's not perfect but we're pretty happy at how it turned out.

Jessica and Priscilla out leaf whacking.  They take large bread knives  or sticks and chop off all the leaves that are hanging over the trails.  I'm sure there's some sore arms today!
Our favorite comment at the parade yesterday was, "Is it a real cow?"   We were really surprised to get 3rd place with our float.  I'm sure it's because we have such wonderful helpers!!!!  Thank you that helped!  Even Dallas, with his broken foot, road on the float with the corn cob outfit on that no one else wanted to wear!  Miriam was our cow this time and thankfully she handles heat really good because I'm sure that outfit must've been hot.

This is another project I've been working on.  It's a large Titanic display.  It's covered with plastic so it can handle being outside.

Well, that's what we've been up to.  Have a wonderful day enjoying the great weather God is sending our way!

  4. Sarah, we would love to have your family visit if you're ever up this way! With how good of cooks you all are you could help make all the brownies and popcorn balls :) I guess, Shelly, you might have to help when you come up!

Maybe you've thought of this already, but have you considered giving these away at your maze this fall? Would be pretty cool!
