Shipping Cattle

Arthur and Isaac shipped the beef calves today.  It's not the safest thing in the world to do as those mamma cows don't want to be separated from their calves.  Thankfully the guys had some great help and all went safely and without trouble.  They followed the two layer cattle semi to the auction and us girls stayed home and watched the auction online.  Yup, their happy! Its a good thing too as Arthur and Isaac have both been putting in some really, really long days.  Things should get a "little" easier now.  The bulls and cull cows were shipped earlier.

Meanwhile, us girls continue to paint.  Priscilla continues to do schoolwork. Arthur has been busy feeding cattle and moving them home for today's sale and for an upcoming vaccination day.  Isaac has been putting in a cattle waterer at his place including fixing an underground leak he found, and all that goes with that kind of thing.  The married kids and their families are doing well, as are the newlyweds :)

It's cold out and we've been enjoying the blessing of having wood heat with the nice smell and delightful flames. Thankfully we missed the heavy snow that they got south of here.

Well, you all have a wonderful weekend!  Be sure to tell God about all the things you're thankful for!
