Christmas 2014

Most of our "Christmas" was after Christmas this year. Christmas Eve our church has its Christmas program and every year we take a picture of the girls all dressed up.  The program, like always, was such a good reminder of not only how Jesus came to earth, but why He came.

On the 27th I celebrated another birthday.  The girls are always telling me I need to post pictures of myself.  So, here it is. 

On January 1st, Arthur and I celebrated another anniversary. Our wedding was actually on a Wednesday that year.  Seeing as no one has a lot going on New Years Day, it worked perfect and we don't forget the day!

We got together with my side of the family on the 27th.  Landon doesn't look too sure of sitting by the girls! 

There was a lot of food and a couple wild games of Trigger.  A great group game that is super fast to learn and fast paced.

Most Christmas' my sisters and I get a picture together. 

Then we had our family come over one morning for brunch.

We opened a few gifts and the cousins had fun playing together.

Yesterday we has Arthur's side of the family get-together. Gideon got a soldier set given to him and he wore the hat and carried the sword all day.

Those 15 and older take part in a white elephant gift exchange.  There's always a few gag type gifts to keep it humorous and some really nice gifts too.  It's not so much about the gifts though as the fun we have being together.  The family also had a prayer time together and ate together.

That concludes our Christmas get-togethers and now things will get back to "normal", whatever that is!
