The Last Few Weeks in a Nutshell

(This post will be a little out of order.) Well, here's our 2016 parade float. Its  not the best float you've ever seen but the cow and Arthur made up for it! By the way, the theme for the 2016 maze is "Road Trip". Elizabeth was nice enough to wear the hot cow costume.

I'm so thankful for our great team that helps pass out flyers. Here's Eli. He and Josh are staying with us this summer to help with the never ending farm work.

And here's the great team! Thank you everyone for your help!!!!!

We spent one day up near Winnipeg at a Giesbrecht family reunion. Kids are kids no matter where they come from and this group had a lot of fun together!

Uncle Jim and my dad having a visit while grilling.

Aunty Lynn had a pinata for the kids. They took whacks from smallest to biggest and Daniel had no problem finishing it off!

And everyone visiting. It was enjoyable seeing relatives that I see very little.

The big family picture.

This week we are having Farm Camp 2016 at our house. There's about 12 boys and its pretty fun to watch them having fun and working together. Hosanna did room inspections and she's about ready to give the room report.

Silas took time today to grill burgers and hotdogs for the guys.

One project the boys had was to burn the leftover straw at the maze. Another thing they have done almost nonstop when not working is shooting soft air guns.

The fishing isn't going too good but most of the guys have really enjoyed it, excluding those that got "seasick"!

There's lots of time to study their Bibles and memorize scripture. A few different men have been doing devotionals three times a day.

Oops! That little fish almost slipped out of his hand!

We had our actual 4th of July picnic with Arthur's side of the family. Its always fun to see how the kids have grown from year to year and to see the cousins all playing together. The family all went to the parade, ate again, and went to the fireworks together.

That's it for now. I'll post more boys camp pictures later. Have a great week!
