Grandpa Time

Quite often one or more of the grandsons find their way over here in the morning to help out with milking the cows. Their main job is feeding the new calves. Arthur tries to take a little extra time with them when the work is done and today he did a little target practicing with David.

Arthur could've given them a ride home, but its much more fun to canoe most of the way and walk the rest!

The Bulldog is so peaceful this time of year. Before long it will petty much be a dried up bed waiting for next spring to run again.

I followed Arthur back up to the house and we took some time to look over the calves from last year with their winter furry coats still on.

So that's what's going on in the farm around our place. Have a wonderful evening!

  1. Thank you for sharing your wonderful life and this nice tribute to your husband! I loved seeing your grandchildren with him. I don't know if you've heard but at the end of Summer, Robert and I will become grandparents twice. Both Cora and Andrew's wife are with child and they will deliver within a week of each other! OH FOR JOY! Please keep them in your prayers! God bless you richly!
