"He is not here; for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay." Matthew 28:6
He is risen indeed! Tomorrow is the day we remember all that Christ has done for us. We celebrate the reason we're here, the purpose we have in living, and the hope of our eternal life. We are reminded again of God's great love for us and what Jesus went through for us sinful mortals. It's also the time of year that I am reminded of what God has done for me personally. I am so glad that I was born in the time and place I was and that I had many opportunities to hear the gospel as a young girl. It's a reminder of all those that live in places where they might only hear the gospel once in their life, if at all. It's a sobering thought to think of all those that are suffering today for believing what most Amerians take for granted. This weekend, make sure to take some time alone to thank God for all that He has done for you and pray for those around the world that haven't heard and those that are being persecuted for the same.
