Sheetrock and cake...

The guys worked some more on sheetrocking at Amos and Rebekah's today. When they're all done they should have three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a laundry area in their upstairs. The "kids" rooms are pretty big - I think Amos is hopeful!! They also put in a new chiminey for their wood stove because it had a few problems last year.
Tomorrow our church is having a baby shower for Rebekah and Daniel. Naomi is making a fondant cake for the first time - at least for the first time at a public event. She's made two for at home. For those that have tried fondant, it doesn't taste very good, but Naomi has a recipe that is basically melted marshmallows and I'm not sure what else. It tastes really, really good.
So good in fact that she had everyone standing around the kitchen giving advice and looking for samples. I'll post a finished picture tomorrow. Otherwise, the guys and a couple of the girls went fishing again and this time it was Priscilla who caught the big one. It was a 27" northern. They were only gone a few hours but got enough for two meals. We cut up one big pumpkin and froze 16 bags. Tonight everyone is playing Rook (while helping out Naomi!). Tomorrow is our last day with our company and we're going to be sad to see them go - both our company and the McCannes. Have a great evening!
