Come Calves, Come Calves...
We had a few of our calves spend the summer over at a neighbor's farm where we were renting some land. Today Arthur and Isaac decided to bring them back to our farm by "hoof and mouth". They went by hoof, and Arthur tempted their mouths by going in front of them with a bucket of feed. Isaac followed behind with a four-wheeler to control any strays. I found it quite amusing with Arthur calling, "Come calves, come calves," and seeing them run after him. A few passerbys on the highway found it amusing as well. There's not a lot of traffic in the morning so it wasn't a problem. Actually, there's hardly ever any traffic. Anyway, the calves got home safely.
