Youth Conference

Hi from Naomi! We got home at 12:30 last night from our trip - 22 of us from church went to the youth conference at Park Meadows Baptist Church in Lincoln, IL. John Bishop was the speaker (a man who got menengitis 13 years ago and lost all of his memory from before that) and we all enjoyed and were challenged by his testimony of God's goodness.
The theme of the confernce was "Heart Check" and the front of the church was decorated like a hospital - there were services Friday night and most of Saturday.
We spent a couple nights with Rebekah's parents and we went over to her grandparents for breakfast in the morning. Thank you guys for everything!
Our last night in IL, we left our adults where they were staying, and then went to the McCanne's - the Pecks suprised us and came over to spend the night. We started talking and playing games and it got so late that we decided it would be more work to go to bed than it was worth - so we didn't!
Catch Phrase! Between the youth conference and the Creation Museum, we put on over 2400 miles in four days (and only lost 5 people on the way!) Amos, Rebekah, Daniel, Benjamin, and Hosanna went straight from the museum to Murfreesboro, TN where they'll be working with La Espada for a couple weeks. It was a fast trip, but a lot of fun and we can't wait to do it again:)
