This post is for the Berntsons - We filled out our CYIA applications today! At least Silas, Hosanna, and I did - Isaac is waiting to decide for sure...For those of you that don't know, CYIA is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship for young people - we have a two week training, then teach 5-Day-Clubs, work at VBS, tell the Wordless book at fairs, and help at Camp Good News.
One or more of us have worked with CEF since 2002 and it's had a big impact in all of our lives as well as giving us a chance to put what we know into practice. So please remember to pray for us this summer!

Well, we don't ALL go to CYIA - at least not all at once. (3 or 4 of us are this year) Mom and Dad went when they were in high-school, us older kids have all gone, this is Silas' first year, and Priscilla is just waiting her turn. But we do all end up helping each other in different ways, so it does end up being a family "ministry" and of course, our whole family helps with VBS!
