Hi from Naomi - Last night we played "Balderdash" with some of the J.'s - one of the unusual laws was that, in CT, a pickle is only "officially" a pickle if it bounces. Of course that got us thinking and we had to get out a jar and see if our pickles are real :) They aren't - but we enjoyed them anyway!

Micah sleeping and Jonathan almost sleeping!

Karen and Miriam racking their brains to come up with a creative something...

Isaac got in late, so instead of playing Balderdash, he played Legos with the kids - I think that was the first time in a looooong time!

Clockwise - Jessica, Priscilla, Mrs. J., Caleb, Silas, and Nathan - Making new friends is so much fun :)
Lol about the pickles. We're from NH and I never heard that rule!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy looking at your blog! Thanks for the fun and informative blog. I enjoy family blogs!
I've heard that rule that pickles must bounce. Another silly law is in Minnesota women must not be Santa. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL, I wonder who first thought of bouncing pickles to see if they're "real"...seems like after you did that, you wouldn't want to eat them anymore!! ;) Glad to see you're all having fun and making new friends!! I miss you guys! I'm just getting ready to go up to Mom and Dad's to see Mittons...wish you could be there too!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had fun!:)
