Arthur Would Want You to Know...

That he buys twine for the haybaler that is made in Israel! (He asked me to share that tidbit!) I was out weeding when he called me over and thought I would like a break and should post this. That sounded fine, because after all the cool weather we've had, it's 70 degrees and I was hot and needed a break. We've been setting all kids of record cold days. If this is global warming, I'd hate to see global cooling!! Yes, we like to support Israel.
Arthur is giving instructions to Nathan on raking hay. He's got quite a crew out in the fields today and they're trying really hard to get the cut hay baled before it rains. Naomi and Hosanna are cleaning for a lady today, Priscilla and Isaac took Rebekah's relatives fishing, and Miriam is still out weeding.

I couldn't resist taking this cute picture of my nephew barefoot and enjoying the nice day. Arthur wondered why he never gets to sit on trailers and pet the dogs :) A Roy Rogers cowboy song goes, "Lazy days, got no work to do.." Imagine that! I'm glad to see my nephews out enjoying the summer though because when you drive through town you don't see hardly any children outside. I'm guessing before the day is through he'll be stacking hay with the others.

Well, my break is over. Have a great day counting God's blessings!

  2. What a neat post! We like that Roy Rogers song too, although can't quite relate to having all the work done (and just laying around in the shade consequently!) It seems like the work is never done on a farm. :)

  4. Wow, never know where things will come from!! Good for you. :)

Your song made me laugh...Daniel always comes home from a long day of work (sometimes followed by a long NIGHT of work...farmers never really get DONE) and fantasizes about having everything done, and sitting on the front porch with a cool drink watching the neighbors drive by. :) I don't know if it will ever happen tho...I'm definitly NOT married to a lazy man!!!! :)
