Corn Stalking

Okay, in the next eight weeks, you are going to hear way more than you probably want about our corn maze. Sorry about that. If you really get tired of it, just stop reading and pick up the blog again in October! Priscilla however, absolutely loves the maze. Last night we went out for the first time in the dark to check it out.
We had Aaron go through it for the first time with Noami. It took them 25 minutes, not bad! I would guess it will take anywhere from 20 minutes to 45 minutes with the word game. Arthur and Priscilla went through it as well. Some of it is taller than Arthur now, thankfully, and we figure it will grow up to a foot more. Silas went through and dragged the trails again so they are really nice and we have been working on the word game people can play in the maze. I've been polishing up a web page, just a fancy blog, with the maze info.

Have a great day!

  1. Hi, were you able to get onto our site? Just thought of two othe rideas that you probablly already have. One is to offer hay rides. Another would be to advertise a petting zoo. City folk will pay to have their child pet a calf, hold a chick see a rabbit...

  2. Yes, we were going to do hayrides and probably have a cow and calf. One thing that makes this such a crazy venture is that we don't have any city folk for miles around! The nearest Walmart is 90 miles away and that's not a city by any means. The nearest mall is about 150 miles away. We won't get huge crowds but there's not a lot to do around here so what people there aren't hopefully will come :)
