Last night my girls, Silas, and Jordan, Benjamin, and James decided to explore the maze in the dark - much more fun than during the day. When Caleb and Isaac came in from the field and found they had gone out to the corn field, they just couldn't help sneaking out there to scare them.
Looks like Silas and Benjamin were really, really scared! Actually, I think the big sisters made them pose!
Today everyone went blueberry picking and James decided he wanted to climb a tree.
Hosanna picking berries.
And Jordan getting her share. Mmm! They are so good and we'll enjoy they're taste all winter. We are so thankful that God has given our children good friends that aren't out to teach them the ways of the world. I've also been enjoying visiting with Jill, the mom, as we discuss the trials, blessings, and struggles as we raise our children.
Other than that, we have been doing a few more things to get the guys ready to go on the Deserted Island Bible Camp. Arthur is the director and they have the most guys coming this year than they have ever had. That's encouraging, and I know Arthur would want you to pray that the campout will have eternal results.
Till tomorrow (or whenever we have a chance to update or meet in heaven)...
Looks like you guys are having fun! I wish we could be there! It's too bad the boys couldn't make it for DIBC. They would've liked to, but it just didn't work out this year. :(
ReplyDeleteWell look what the cat drug in... =) Hey Pecks! I didn't even know you all were leaving Sunday! I would have said goodbye... ! Jen made good use of your tomatoes... check out our blog for a great relish recipe and pics. It's my personal favorite recipe (from my great-gramma in Poland)for relish. You all might enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, looking forward to seeing new pics, and to meeting the Krahn family in October!
