Our Bedroom

Well, here it is.  First, we got a new queen size bed after having a full size one.  Then I painted the walls a light green.  It's not really my favorite but I will live with it for a few years anyway.   It kinda grows on a person.  There's new brown curtains even though the burgandy blinds are still up.  Yes, we have taken down our Christmas decorations but we leave the small trees up in our bedroom till later in the winter.  It just looks too pretty at night to put them away.  Seeing as we really haven't had winter, until today, after a nice cover of snow from overnight!

This is the other side of the room.  I know the dressars don't match.  One comes from Arthur's great grandma and one from my grandma so they are kinda special to us. The headboard matches this dressar but doesn't fit the bed right now.  We still like it though, so Arthur will do some work with it.  The cedar chest is from another grandma of mine. The quilt that was on the quilt rack, made by one of our grandmas,  is now on our bed so I'm not sure what I'll put up there.  I stuck a picture up to fill the space for the picture! (Sounds like our bedroom would be bare without the help of grandparents!) The wallwords went up beautifully with Miriam's help.  I still have some staining of trimboards and the office and bathroom doors that have never been done.  Maybe later this winter.  If we were to get some overnight company it might get done faster! Someday, I hope to get the bathroom redone too.  Already put up a new shower curtain and rug and got new towels.  They just don't match the paint and flower trim though.

So, with that done for now, I need to get some other things done.  Have a great weekend everyone!  Don't just worship and praise God on Sunday!  Delight in His love, mercy, grace, salvation, and blessings every day of the week!
