Calf Hutches

Well, that's one way to move them!  Arthur placed a number of them in the pasture with the beef cows to keep calves dry when it rain, or snows.  We've had the first five or six born, so far, which is always exciting.  See the green grass?  Yesterday we woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground.  That's okay, summer will come soon enough!

  1. Hi Krahns,
I finally found you guys here in cyberspace! My goodness, your grass is so green. I loved the calf hutch picture--farmers will always find a way!
Your home school day looked like an awsome event. I like the checkers/chess tournement idea! I'm sure that it took lots of work to put together, but what awesome memories you made for everyone!
    God bless,
    Mrs. Dawn Bornemann (Cora's mom)

We'd love to hear what you have to say!
