Probably the most important thing we did was the wordless book. This is a great method of sharing the gospel and I'm sure each of them said it so many times over the three days they'll be dreaming about it! They also learned some basic salvation counselling, a little harder than the wordless book but most did really good at this. There were also classes on using tracts, leading singing, protecting children, christian testimony, and others, including a few devotional lessons done by Arthur's dad. We also did some VBS prep work and some worked on their lessons for that as well. It was a great three days, including some late nights by this "stay at our house" group! Thank you to those that came and did so well! It sure makes VBS easy when we have it in such good hands!!!
Please pray for us next week during our VBS that lots of children would come, that lots of hearts would be challenged (including ours), that children would get saved, and for safety of everyone. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. B. for the materials you gave us that we were able to use!! It was so fun to say, here, you can keep these! |
Praying!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Cora! And, Reuben, we wish you were here too! Can't wait to hear all your stories when you get home.
ReplyDeleteI was so blessed by your group of young people and the love and care that they showed my little ones this past week. I am also thankful for the godly example they set for my children. What a great group of young men and women!
ReplyDeleteMy kids had a wonderful time and are still talking about all that they learned and singing all of the great songs from last week.
Thank you for your investment in your children and the blessing they are to others.
My kids are already looking forward to next year! :)
