God's Blessings

God has truly blessed our part of the country with fruit this year.  I can't speak for the rest of the country.  The blueberries this year are amazingly abundant and along with some fresh raspberries and store peaches, they make water oh so tasty!

Almost everyday Isaac has taken whatever siblings are available to pick for a couple of hours early in the morning. I love how they pick so clean you hardly have to pick anything out of the buckets.  Isaac, by the way, has his knee surgery on Monday and would sure appreciate everyone praying for him.

We've been doing a lot of maze work and the girls did their yearly leaf whacking.  The corn isn't the tallest it's ever been but no one will be able to see over it.

Silas has been mowing trails.  Some of them got grown over and it looked like a jungle.

And the trails look pretty good after the mowing and leaf whacking.
There has also been a constant move to get the hay put up with the nice weather the last few days.  Broken parts to replace and so forth.
Have a great weekend!

  1. Amen! God has blessed us again this year! I've been picking wild black raspberries and blackberries that grow in abundance in my fencerows. I hope to post on the process and resulting jelly soon.
