I'm looking for the words and lyrics for the children's song, "Lord, Give Me a Missionary Heart". Does anyone know it or know where I can get the sheet music? I think it's too another tune but I'm not sure what that tune is so even that would help. Thanks and everyone have a wonderful, snowy, blessed by God day!
Camille, I don't think that is the actual name of the song. Is it a Ron Hamilton song? Or are you thinking of the one about bury my heart on the mission field? The bury my heart one is taken from what Mr. Livingstone said many years ago. Let me know. Shelly
ReplyDeleteNo, it's not a Ron Hamilton song. It goes something like, Lord, give me a missionary heart, though I'm small I want to do my part, I'll give and pray to help our missionaries so that they can say ... I can't remember the rest although it has a part that goes God so loved the world he gave his only son, on the cross of Calvary he died for everyone. Rose again the third day and now he lives in heaven but he'll soon be back again. Or something like that. It's an old children's song from when we were kids.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever heard that song before. It sounds like it would be a neat song though. I will try and find it and I will let you know what I find.

ReplyDeleteThank you! That's the one I was looking for! And I like how they show the words so we can write them down. Thanks again!!
