VBS -Day 1

Hi! It was a really nice and hot day for VBS. We had 62 children and about 30 workers which is average for our first day. Things went smooth, no one got hurt, for the most part they behaved, and the workers survived! No one responded to the invitation today which is quite common for the first day. The children are always a little more reserved but by Wednesday they are so wound up the workers are really kept busy. At this point, their hearts seem to open up as well and we see children get saved. The picture is from the theme skit for the week. Yes, it's a little blurry. I really have a hard time getting good pictures in our church. The skit is at the beginning of the morning and one girl who came in late came up to the registration table that Rebekah and I were running and said before anything else, "Am I too late for the skit?". The skit is definately a highlight. They also love to sing and hopefully enjoy the Bible lessons. We're still praying for 100 children! Have a great evening.
