Priscilla got the boys ready for horse rides today. They're nice horses but don't ask them to walk nice. They either wander wherever they choose, or run wherever they choose. Somehow kids always like going for rides anyway!
We spent part of our morning shucking, cutting, and processing corn. I spent the rest of the day canning it and I also froze some. A neighbor shared it with us because Isaac was so nice to help fix his combine.
The older girls put the oat straw bales on the elevator going up into the barn while the boys stacked it in the haymow. We are so glad for the nice cool weather today with so much sunshine. It made for a beautiful fall work day. I think everybody is looking forward to a day of rest tomorrow!
