Happy 18th Birthday, Miriam! and What a Big Fish!

One of Miriam's first comments this morning was, "Can I sign up for the draft?". Yes, she was just kidding! Silas got up early and made waffles for a special breakfast and Miriam tried on a new shirt she got. Hosanna's been playing "Happy Birthday" on the piano all morning.

On another note, Arthur caught a 53 inch stergeon last night! He was thinking it must be some walleye or northern on the line since he was just using a minnow but then this monster came out of the water. Yes, he had to throw it back because you need a special tag to get stergeon, are only allowed one a year, and it was in the slot limit. And yes, they forgot the camera. Arthur figured it was at least 30 lbs. Priscilla also got a nice walleye in the slot limit.
