Isaac was holding sleeping Jeriah when Daniel and David came over and then Naomi gave Esther to Isaac so we got our first picture with all four of them. Isaac went to the chiropractor today and had his knee joint put back in. There is some cartilage and ligament damage so he's going to have to take it easy for awhile yet but got the okay to put some weight on it. It's still swollen so until that goes down it's kinda hard to get an accurate feel for exactly what's wrong but he's chosen to go the patient route rather than rush to get an MRI and surgery. He might need it anyway, but he'll be patient for awhile first and see if that helps.
Meanwhile, what gorgeous spring weather!! I was excited to see a few things poking out of the ground!
II Corinthians 4:16-18
for which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
They're all so cute together! :) Do they know if he has any tendons that will need to be repaired? Hope he keeps healing well!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update I was just getting ready to send an email to find out the latest. Praying often.
ReplyDeleteWhat precious babies. jep
Not sure about tendons yet, Rachel. They won't even take a good look till the swelling has gone down.
ReplyDeleteYes, Jill, they are precious!!
The grandchildren are so sweet all together.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about his leg. I didn't realize it might be serious. Will pray that he heals well.
That is such a neat picture. See Issac, being laid up does have its perks. bruce
