4th of July Weekend

Okay, this is out of order, but, its our 4th of July maze float going down the street.  You can see our great workers in orange on the sides of the street giving out maze ad cards.  Karen is sitting on the float and gave the walkers more cards as they needed them.  Wonderful hubby in the white cowboy had is driving the tractor! The good guys always have white hats :)
We had a great 4th of July weekend!  Our picnic on the 4th was with the K. side of the family.  Doug had the grilling honors and made some great burgers.
The line of picnic tables went back a ways behind me as well, with all the family together.

The little girls patiently waiting for the parade to begin.

We are so thankful for the wonderful crew that helped us out during the parade!  Thank you everyone!!!!  Like most years, we also got tons, literally, of hay baled over the weekend which we are also so thankful for.

Like I said, we had a good 4th of July weekend.  It is hard to feel patriotic this year with things the way they are and I'm sure you all feel the same way.  However, we still live in the best country in the world and most of the world would give anything to live here. Except maybe the Canadians :)  We need to be in continual prayer for our country, for revival in the church, and salvation of the lost.

We had a nice family night together last night and got discussing family devotions.  How many families actually have them?  How about your family?  Is the lack of family devotions destroying the christian families in America?  Could having devotions together save families? Take the anonymous poll on the left and let us know how your family does. Have a great week!
